6 Flowers on a Cactus? first time we have had that many! a rear view to prove they are not stick on ones!!.

You can see Brugmansias coming late this year plus a nice new rose at the bottom.

Immediately below you see the result of Australian Wonga Vine! it is still mixed up about season & after spreading all over a load of bushes front & back, this is the only flower out to date, beautiful & does not last a long time around 75% of the size of a teacup, let's see what happens next season.

Late this year, thanks to weather! Brugmansia out in latter part of August, most of the others & Datura are showing buds our Apricot colour one here slowly getting it's colour, quite a few more buds on this one too.

When you open the greenhouse door, the superb odour reaches you, stronger as darkness descends & moths queue to get a whiff!!, if you look further down you will see the 'thing' has grown a little & colour has darkened to an Apricot shade, Janet's hand with it for scale!.

Black Eyed Susies below should last until November, you can see this year's fresh Echium plants have grown more as well.

Below this text in mid to late August 2008 you will see ANOTHER BRUMGANSIA PLANT with obvious 2 pods starting to open/bloom at left & right of pic., this has another 8 small pods now growing.

The Red Passion Flower has now started to appear, this is one which was planted earlier this year.

Both our Hibiscus plants are NOW flowering after mid August, one shown below is blue & the other bush a pink.

September is in & our Yellow Brumgansias finally trying to open! note the half open one behind that yellow one.
